On Wednesday 7 May the Pluscarden Community will offer a special Mass for the Conclave of Cardinals, meeting to elect a new Pope.

The Roman Missal gives special texts for such a Mass, and the lectionary offers special readings, which we will use. The Chants from the Graduale Romanum will be from the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

May the Holy Spirit guide and inform the Cardinals as they make their choice.

May He also be with the one who is to be chosen to lead the Catholic Church in our day, as successor of St. Peter, head of the College of Bishops, focus of unity and chief proclaimer of the Gospel of Christ!
