Our friends, guests and visitors will like to stay informed about small changes made to our daily Timetable.

These latest changes will aim to eliminate the integration of the Office of Prime with Mass.

There will be two experimental periods of timetable adjustment.

From Ash Wednesday and throughout lent, after Vigils (at 04.30, as before) there will be a 5-minute pause, then Lauds will follow immediately.

Prime will then be recited at 06.45.

Then: Terce will be sung on weekdays at 09.00, followed immediately by Mass.

Hitherto Mass has been scheduled for 9.00, followed by Terce. So Mass will actually begin on weekdays now at around 09.15.

On Sundays and Solemnities during lent this year, the early morning timetable will be as above.

But:

Terce (not Prime, as hitherto) will be sung at 09.00. Then Mass will begin at 10.00 (without Terce immediately preceding it, as hitherto).

Then in Eastertide:

The separate Office of Prime will be eliminated entirely.

Vigils will be at 04.30, as before, and Lauds at 06.15.

Weekday Mass will be at 09.00, and will be followed by Terce.

Sunday and Solemnity Mass times as above.

The Psalms of Prime will be re-distributed over the daily Little Hours. Thus as little change as is possible will be made to St. Benedict's schema of Psalms for the Divine Office, and all 150 Psalms will continue to be sung each week.
